Two albums worth listening to: Handel (Schirmer) and C.P.E Bach (Markovina)

Ragna Schirmer’s recordings of Handel’s Keyboard Suites are excellent. They are powerful and each note and phrase carries the correct feeling and tone.

Ana-Marija Markovina is a fine pianist. Her complete recordings of C.P.E Bach’s works for piano are very well done. She plays with a virtuosic clarity that conveys great depth and feeling.
